Inventory management connected to your grocery sales
AlTijara helps Kuwait retailers follow stock from supplier delivery to sale. Product quantities, costs and stock movements are connected to the same store records used at checkout.
Receive what actually arrived
Record the units and cost on a supplier delivery. When an order arrives in separate batches, use partial receiving rather than recording the whole order as delivered. Compare the actual invoice and quantities before confirming receipt.
Follow stock movements and unit cost
Use the stock ledger to inspect receipts, sales and stock changes. Moving weighted average costing updates product unit cost as stock is received. Historical movements help explain why today's quantity or valuation differs from an earlier report.
Act on low-stock items
Review low-stock alerts and matching supplier listings when planning replenishment. Supplier offers support the purchasing decision, while the store team remains responsible for checking pack sizes, quantities, availability and delivery details.
Record damaged and expired goods
Use the stock-out workflow for damaged or expired items and review the corresponding expense. Record the reason when stock leaves the business instead of treating it as a customer sale. Individual cost-view permissions help owners control who can see purchase costs.
Questions about this workflow
How does AlTijara calculate product cost?
The inventory workflow uses moving weighted average unit cost. Review opening stock, purchase invoices and stock adjustments for accurate valuation.
Can I receive part of an order?
Yes. Partial receiving records actual deliveries when goods arrive in separate batches.
Can I restrict purchase-cost visibility?
Yes. Product-cost access is controlled by user permissions; owners retain access.
